This Network Management Policy (“Policy”) explains how Speak Easy Mobile and MVN-X, LLC manage wireless data services, network resources, performance, and traffic conditions. Speak Easy Mobile is the retail MVNO brand used by customers, while the underlying service provider responsible for actual network access, provisioning, subscriber authentication, and network routing is MVN-X, LLC (“MVN-X”).

This Policy applies to all customers using Speak Easy Mobile-branded wireless services operating on the MVN-X platform, including access delivered through MVN-X’s carrier network partners.

1. Underlying Service Provider Information

All subscriber provisioning, SIM/eSIM activation, network routing, usage processing, and service delivery are provided by:

The MVN-X platform interacts directly with carrier network partners to enable wireless service for Speak Easy Mobile customers.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy describes:

  • How MVN-X and its carrier partners manage mobile internet traffic

  • Network performance expectations (speed, latency, coverage)

  • Congestion management practices

  • Restrictions on certain types of device or data usage

  • Policies regarding blocking, throttling, prioritization, and security

This Policy does not apply to the network management practices of third-party Wi-Fi networks, roaming partners, or any other networks not controlled by MVN-X.

3. Overview of Wireless Service

Speak Easy Mobile wireless data services operate on 4G LTE and 5G networks provided through MVN-X carrier partners. Access depends on:

  • Device compatibility

  • SIM/eSIM activation

  • Coverage availability

  • Local signal strength

  • Tower load and congestion conditions

Performance is not guaranteed and may vary significantly by location, time of day, network demand, and device capability.

4. Data Plans & High-Speed Data Management

Speak Easy Mobile offers a variety of rate plans that may include:

  • High-speed 5G and 4G LTE data allotments

  • Unlimited data with reduced speeds after plan thresholds

  • Hotspot/tethering usage allowances

4.1 High-Speed Data Thresholds

If your plan includes a fixed amount of high-speed data:

  • Speeds may be reduced to lower levels for the remainder of your billing cycle once the threshold is reached.

  • Reduced speeds may affect streaming quality, gaming, downloads, and app performance.

4.2 Unlimited Plans

Unlimited plans contain:

  • Unlimited overall data usage

  • A high-speed data threshold, after which:

    • Speeds may be reduced, and/or

    • Data may be deprioritized during congestion

Unlimited plans are not intended for non-residential or server-like usage patterns.

4.3 Hotspot / Tethering

Hotspot use may be:

  • Subject to a separate high-speed data limit

  • Slowed after reaching your plan’s hotspot tier

  • Restricted if usage is deemed excessive or inconsistent with consumer use

MVN-X may limit the number of devices tethered at once.

5. Network Performance Expectations

Actual speeds depend on:

  • Device type and capability (LTE, 5G, 5G+)

  • Coverage and network environment

  • Congestion conditions

  • Signal quality

  • Plan type and usage thresholds

Typical speeds on partner networks (when available and not deprioritized):

5G Service (Typical Conditions)

  • Download: 50–300+ Mbps

  • Upload: 3–20+ Mbps

  • Latency: ~10–40 ms

4G LTE Service (Typical Conditions)

  • Download: 10–75 Mbps

  • Upload: 2–12 Mbps

  • Latency: ~20–60 ms

Your actual performance may be lower and can vary minute-by-minute based on congestion or location.

6. Network Management Practices

MVN-X and its carrier partners may use reasonable network management practices designed to maintain network stability, ensure fair access, and prevent harm. These may include:

6.1 Congestion Management

During times of high network demand, your traffic may be:

  • Deprioritized relative to premium/postpaid subscribers

  • Slowed or subject to reduced throughput

  • Managed to ensure stable performance for all users

This is standard industry practice.

6.2 Throttling

Your data may be slowed:

  • After exceeding your plan’s high-speed data limit

  • During extraordinary network congestion

  • When using hotspot/tethering beyond the permitted allowance

We do not throttle based on content, website, app, or protocol type.

6.3 Blocking

Neither Speak Easy Mobile nor MVN-X blocks lawful content or applications except:

  • When required for security (malware, DDoS, fraud)

  • When required by law

  • When necessary to protect network integrity

6.4 Prioritization

Speak Easy Mobile does not pay or receive compensation for paid prioritization.

Carrier networks may:

  • Prioritize postpaid traffic over MVNO traffic

  • Prioritize certain critical services (e.g., 911 routing, VoLTE)

These behaviors are controlled by carrier partners, not Speak Easy Mobile.

6.5 Application-Specific Restrictions

We do not intentionally:

  • Block specific apps

  • Rate-limit particular protocols

  • Alter or manipulate content

However, certain high-bandwidth or continuous-use applications may perform poorly after high-speed data has been depleted.

7. Device & SIM Requirements

You must use:

  • A compatible device approved for use on MVN-X partner networks

  • A valid SIM or eSIM provisioned by MVN-X

Unsupported devices may result in:

  • Loss of service

  • Inability to access 5G

  • VoLTE or Wi-Fi calling failures

  • Suspension of service if the device violates network policies

Prohibited devices include:

  • Modems, hotspots, or gateways used for large-scale data offload

  • Unauthorized signal boosters or repeaters

  • Automated relay or machine-to-machine devices not permitted under your plan

8. Network Security

MVN-X uses a variety of security measures to protect the network and user information, including:

  • Traffic monitoring for anomalies

  • Filtering against malicious activity

  • Fraud detection systems

  • SIM authentication and encryption

  • Protection against spoofing and unauthorized access

For your own security, you must:

  • Use strong passwords

  • Protect your device

  • Avoid sharing your account PIN

  • Notify support immediately if you suspect unauthorized use

9. Roaming

Roaming availability varies by plan and is not guaranteed. Performance while roaming may differ from domestic network behavior and may be subject to:

  • Lower speeds

  • Reduced coverage

  • Additional restrictions imposed by roaming partners

10. Unlimited Plan Fair Use

Unlimited plans are intended for personal, non-commercial, consumer use.

Examples of prohibited usage:

  • Hosting servers or automated systems

  • Continuous video streaming or unattended connections

  • Using excessive data that degrades network performance for others

MVN-X may restrict or terminate service for abusive or excessive use.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Network Management Policy periodically.
Updates take effect when posted unless otherwise required by law.

Continued use of Speak Easy Mobile services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
